Laundry Attendant

Job description

As a Laundry Attendant at WASHIT, you will help ensure our customers’ clothing and textiles are cleaned, sanitized, and presented professionally. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assist customers visiting our facilities.
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron clothing and textiles.
• Operate commercial laundry equipment.
• Inspect items for stains, damage, or quality issues.
• Keep the laundry area clean and organized.
• Track laundry supplies and place orders as needed.
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills:

• Previous experience in a similar role is a plus.
• Knowledge of laundry equipment and cleaning products.
• Attention to detail and the ability to maintain high quality standards.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
